ZF front seal..........tell me it aint so!

Well got it ZF'ed drove it a lil next day all good this morning fluid all over the floor, went and got a seal pulled tranny and find out this joker goes in from the inside?

Bingo. I believe the input shaft bearing retainer will unbolt like most other transmissions so you should be able to change the seal easily.

expand on that? best I can tell I gotta break open the case pull it all out and then but it back......

heck I think the slave cylinder may have a seal in it. I havent messed with my ZF so Im not real sure on how its setup. Should be a seal under the slave cylinder so once you remove it I think your good.

Ok pulled the case did some inspecting and no need in puttin in a new seal tonight the input shaft in pretty bad shape where the seal runs. Pretty good lil notch in it, mixed in with rusted out.

So only thing I know to do is get a sleeve? Ill figure that out tomorrow.

Got sleeve inroute, the case removal was pretty simple nothing hard just ALOT a bolts!!!

Think Ill be back on schedule for the OCBR pre run fun!!!
