Hey there-
I am going to put a zf (and a 351efi) in my '68 and was wondering if I can get by with only a 1" body lift? By the way, I have a lightning lower for the motor and I want to keep the stock hood. I've searched for it, but I'd like to hear from someone who has this combo.
Thanks!

I've been working on mine.
1" body with 93 Mustang 5.0 with a ZF.

Had the body on a few times for fitment.
So far just a bit of trimming on the tunnel.

I did it with a WH 1" lift. I will get some pics up. It took some trimming of the tunnel but works just fine.

No body lift on mine but I did hump up the tunnel a little.

Thanks guys-
6daze and siderbox will you be able to cover the hole with just a shifter boot, or will you have to fab something out of metal?

So far the boot will do it.
But I don't think it will end up that way.

How's that for a non answer?

I was able to cover with a boot. But...I made a small plate to cover up my old floor shifter conversion and my old transfer case shifter.

That's a clean tunnel top you did there broncokak. Did you leave it as a screw-on for easier maintenance? And did you ever cover the floor with anything, like carpet or mats?

Thanks Paul, Yes, it has some stainless screws holding it in place. That is just rattle can gray primer on it, still looks the same after 7 years or so. Just dirty and scratched up a little now. I'm going to install a 1" body lift and hopefully go back to the stock hight tunnel so I can add some insulation and a mat or carpeting...someday.
