Who's running a ZF without a body lift? Could you show me some pics?

Also... How do you mount the hydraulic reservoir?

Not sure if it will fit without a BL.. This EB has a 1" integrated BL...

The tape is measureing from the seam where the tunnel angles up towards the firewall. (hard to see the seam in this pic)

I have a 1 inch body lift on mine with a zf. I dont think it would fit without a small body lift. There isnt a lot of extra room even with a 1 inch body lift.

x2 I did mine with a 1" BL, the hole in the floor would be huge without one. Its tricky enough trying to squeeze it in with a 1".

I did mine without a body lift. The whole was pretty big since im also using a 205 and needed to make a new shifter.

For the zf shifter you will need to put a crazy bend or something to clear the dash in 1st and 5th. I plan on using duffs shifter handle on mine.

Idid have to remove my fan shroud and tilt the engine back a litte to get the trans to line up withe clutch and pilot bearing. I also believe that chuck did it without a bl too.

It is kinda a pain but i dont like body lifts. The master cylinder you mount where ever the pedal is.

I'm still in the build stage and using a fiberglass body. I didn't use a body lift but I had to cut a huge hole. I plan to build up the top of my tunnel area by about an inch to cover it back up. I haven't got the cylinder hooked up yet.

Before I installed my doubler I ran my 351W with the ZF on stock lift and stock body mounts. It's possible but you have to have a very large hole in the tunnel. The hole needs to be long so there is room to install/remove the transmission without pulling the body.

I just made a raised cover when I was done to clear everything. I'm running a custon 2.25" BL now. It's much easire to manage. Here are a few pictures of how it was before the body lift, including the ridiculous hole the PO had cut for the 3-speed floor shifter.

That hole and cover seem doable past_miner. I too am going to run a 205. Wonder how it will clear no BL?

What did you make that cover out of, looks good. I may just raise the sheet metal up an inch and box it back in.

Miner also without a bl you will need to notch your seat platform brace as the tcase will hit during install.

Well cut most of the top of the tunnel off to fit it in but looks like it is going to work. Just need to make 2 crossmembers, raise the tunnel sheetmetal, bend a shifter handle to work and I should be good to go. Need to have her ready for the Big Bear Bronco Bash here in SoCal in June!!!

I don't have a body lift. The PO had cut a big hole in the top of the tunnel so I just made a cover for it. I pulled the fresh air vent and you can see what I did for the m/c for the clutch. I also added a couple pitured of the shifter and what I did to get it into the possion I liked.

You can do it if you use the lowest profile motor and transmission mounts possible. However, those will then hang out the bottom of the frame quite a bit. With a WH 1" integrated the top of the transmission is touching the bottom of the tub.

I did mine originally with out a body lift didn't have any problems and the hole i cut was not that big. I think i had a little more angle on the motor tranny leaning back because of the crossmember i built but it fit fine in there. I used to have pictures but that site has been gone for almost ten years I think. the old classicbronco sites. Anyways sounds like you got it.

Ended up cutting most of the top of the trans tunnel off to get it in. Maybe a 7x10" hole. I plan on building a sheet metal cover that will bolt on for easy removal.

That is a nice looking setup for the clutch MC. Looks clean
