painless harness fuel pump

I would go with a 15 amp fuse. The paper work/instructions that came with your pump will usually state what size fuse.

Again, a relay would be extra insurance, but I wouldn't say it's absolutely needed. If you have alot of other aftermarket high amperage components on your vehicle I would proabbly suggest one, just to help keep from over loading the output of the fuse block.
