Pertronix and Painless Harness - Duraspark Needed?

I’m building this truck ground up and am at the point of bodywork and re-wiring.

I have the Painless harness run front to back and am in the final leg of installation in the engine bay. I bought a new Duraspark box since I didn’t have one available. The (used) engine came with a Pertronix module installed in the dizzy already.

Does the Pertronix eliminate the Duraspark box?

Does anyone have a wiring schematic for the Painless to connect into the Pertronix?

After some reading and searching and deep thoughts….

Looks like the following wires aren’t needed:
Grey with yellow
Blue

This one needs to get trimmed and capped as it’s not needed for the ignition but is needed for the NSS:
Red with blue

This is what my coil connections will be:
(-)
Black - ground to the Pertronix

(+)
Green - aftermarket tach
Red with green - from ignition switch
Brown - from solenoid

Pretty simple:



And the green wire for your tach goes to coil negative, not positive.
