I figure it is about time for me to start posting about my bronco build. This site has been a great resource and thought it was about time for me to share the love. Please keep an eye on the free stuff i post in the classifieds. I just gave away some headers and have more items to come.

I started off with a 1974 bronco with a 302. pictures to come. Currently the truck is set up with the following.
1. 302 roller motor, edlebrock intake, holly 600 carb.
2. c4 trans with d20.
3. C4 trans was burned up and has a B&M valve body for drag racing and a B&M ratchet style shifter.
4. Vacuum boost brakes..
5. 4.5 inch lift blocks in the rear spring in the front.
6. 2 shocks at each corner.
7. Smitty build bumpers
8. smitty built cage
9. Corbeu seats
10. Kentrol body.
11. Fold and tumble rear seat.
12. 35 inch All terians.
13. Power steering.
14. Front disc brakes
15. Rear drums

Goal is to make a cool truck that the wife can drive with my little boys in the back! This will not be a serious offload truck but hope to make it a very capable rig.

Next i will post photos and planned upgrades.

Congrats, I spent the summer doing the same. There is a lot of work there in those pics.

Nice start! Are you tying the cage into the frame? Seems like it'd be a good thing to do with a glass tub.

Thanks Guys

Yes it has been a lot of work. My hands are constantly sore. Most definitely going to tie the cage into the frame. With a glass tub, in my opinion, a roll bar is for decoration if not tied into the frame. Hit a snag working the left A arm. Broke a bolt off in the A arm and have spent 6 hours trying to drill it out and re-tap it.

Cheers

We call them "radius arms". (Unless you have some sort of independent front suspension under it.) Keep chugging along, man. Looks to be a nice ride you have there!

Did you get degreed C bushings for it? Most folks around here would recommend the 7 degree ones.

C bushings

Thanks for the correction. I did get new C bushings from WH I believe they are the 7 degree version. After 14 hours and a broken "easy out extractor" I Finally had to take the Radius arm out and have it torched, drilled and tapped by my local shop. Wow my wallet hurts.
