My 4 solution to rattling door innards

So after coming to the conclusion the loudest rattle in my bronco was the rod from my lock to handle I went out and bought 6ft of 1/4 rubber vacuum tubing from O'reilys. I then simply sliced the tube on one side with a box knife and placed it over the metal and now there is almost no rattle from inside the doors.

I'm sure its been done before but I thought I would share for anyone else who hasn't done this yet!

Great idea, I like it!

I can't stand rattles...drives me NUTS! It seems like these old Bronco have more rattles to fix to other classic's.

The rods inside my tailgate always "fall" and clank when I open and close it, but don't seem to really rattle when driving. Nonetheless I think some rubber hose would fix it.
