Sorry to be a stick in the mud here but whoever bought this thing liked it as it was. Maybe they thought they were getting a stock 100 pt restoration, in that case they are the fool soon farted with his money. If it was simply a truck that he thought was cool and doesn't know squat about EBs then he simply made a choice to spend his cash as he saw fit. I generally think the descriptions of these rigs at auction are inaccurate at least and fabrications at worst. I wonder who writes them. Does anyone know who writes the descriptions?

Some years ago, I worked with them on a story and the people I met seemed competent. Some very much so in one particular area of automobilia. But they have grown significantly since then. My eyebrows went up more than once reading that description. I have seen EBs where $70K seemed somewhat reasonable given the vehicle. This wasn't one of them.

Oh, I agree with that! It's just as bad when I see people pay $35K for junk!
