Alternator ground??

Where/what do i ground this alternator to? the "stock" wiring harness had nothing attached to either ground knobs on the back of the alt.

Hey Jess, the stock original type harness was grounded through the little mounting tab on the molded plastic wire strain relief, through it's mounting nut and out through a small black wire to the voltage regulators mounting bolt.
Glad you're going to the trouble of putting a good ground on it even though it's at least partially grounded to the engine through the alternator case. If your existing harness does not have that wire I described, you can add one of your own from any of the "GRD" studs you mentioned and run it up to the body, preferrably under the voltage regulator's mounting bolt. Not because another place isn't sufficient, but just because Ford did it that way and maybe there's a reason I don't know about.
