Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the amp powerstep

The instruction don’t seem very detailed so wondering how difficult it is to install and how well it works

Thanks

Mine aren't from Tom's I ordered from AMP but I suspect they're the same product.

Had a shop install while she was in for some other things--it seemed beyond my skill level but I don't really trust myself with stuff like that.

Functionally they are fantastic, one of my favorite additions to our EB by far. The wife and, particularly my kids, love them even more.

My concern is with any of the newf style runner boards and bars do not connect to the frame or at least I have not seen it. I would not trust sheet metal screws especsialy for those of us 200# and up. They would be a high dollar decoration with no function.

I have them, I honestly think about the rockers every single time I get in. Like it's a matter of time till it goes bad.

I've installed the brackets from Northeast and they work great but you may have some adjustments to make. I would up having to rework the tabs at the rear by fabricating and welding on some wider extensions . I also installed 3/8 rivnuts into the tub channels to attach the inboard tabs for strength. Here is a chart showing loads/strengths
