Blueprint engine- Distributor help needed

I ended up with a brand new Blueprint motor. It came with a too tall HEI style distributor which is too tall. They have a ready to run Ford Small cap distributor that would fit BUT they are out of stock and backorder for months.

So now I need a distributor that will work and they are saying it will need a Melonized steel. Does anyone have a brand and part number for a 302 distributor with that specific gear I can buy. ( trying to avoid swapping gears and hassle).

Just take the hood off and run it like that until the backordered part comes in. I know that’s an oversimplification of the problem, but depending on how far/long you are in the build it may be an option for you to at least get to run it some.
