Getting ready to install my HP 44 from 78 bronco and noticed on the WH site that they have c’s listed specifically for 78-79. Are they not the same as for eb??

AFAIK, the C-bushings are all the same, but it's the track bar bushings that differ...my '77 EB track bar bushings are different as well, so it's interesting that they list 66-77 as the same kit IMO.

As bushings go, the “C“ bushings are all the same from 66 to 79 for all Broncos and half ton pick ups.
The radius arm donut bushings are the same for most, with a couple of minor variations in hardware. I think that’s all.
The track bar bushings are different as mentioned already.
So, when you see a full kit, they are going to have different part numbers. As far as just the C-bushings go, they are all the same.

We do have some different part numbers in some cases, even when the parts themselves are the same. This is simply to denote that they were purchased for, for example, a 78 or 79 bronco, versus purchased for an early bronco.
Then there is a completely different part number, if the part is unique to the particular vehicle.

By the way, what degree C-bushings are you going to go with?
And have you custom built anything else for this installation?

As I’m sure you probably gathered by now, the high pinion front differentials for the big Broncos and F150s already had far more caster built into them than the axles that came out of the bronco.
So size your bushings accordingly.

I have all4fun long arms and going to use 2 degree bushings. Flat to know that the 78-79 already has more caster built in.

I’m not sure the best way to do this, but you might consider mocking it all up first.
Just to make sure that you’re not going to be tilting the pinion too far off. You may even end up putting the 2° C bushings in backwards to achieve your goal.

I was thinking that same thing. Might need in backwards
