Considering changing bumpers from Duff’s pre runner to stock….it doesn’t leave the street these days. Opinions?

What else are you changing? With a FG hood, alum wheels, cut fenders/lift I think the prerunner or other aftermarket "fits" better. I'm currently putting stocks back on mine, but it is a LUBR with redone steelies and stock hood.

I’m not a ‘safety engineer’, but I kinda like the idea of having something that will keep somebody off of my cowl, core support, fronts of fenders. I’m considering going to the rail yard and getting some railroad track to make my bumpers with. Just saying.

I really like the stock bumper and have been considering putting them on my build when the time comes. Although I could probably use a beefier bumper and winch for when I go to the Rubicon.

Opinion you ask for it so if it was mine I would paint the ford letters in grill black and add a push bar /cactus smasher to original bumper and maybe some nice fog light and you would be good to go there it is my opinion nice bronco either way

My opinion given the two choices. I prefer the stock look. I have never been a fan of tube style bumpers. They just don't look good to me but that's just me. Stock or a good plate style bumper. You mentioned a winch. On my build. I am installing the James Duff/Lick Creek, hidden winch mount with stock bumper. Another option you can look into. Either way your Bronco looks great.

I am kind of partial to the pre-runner on that style of modified Bronco. It looks almost identical to the set we have on the '76. Works well.

I like stock bumpers but totally agree with the previous posts regarding the hood. That is such a departure from stock that the pre-runner works. I would go back to stock hood and bumper.

I plan on running stock bumpers with some steel mounted behind it from end to end similar to how the Duff's Tire Carrier is set up. Was going to use box steel but will probably do channel with some holes drilled in it for balance of strength and weight.
