Ok, I got it done. Little did I know when I bought the kit that I would have so much trouble with the rear, I really thought it would be he easy part.
I got the front spring hanger on the passenger side pretty quick with a few whacks of a small sledge. I had only used a rubber mallet yesterday. The rear hanger on the driver side took at least an hour. So little room to work up there with the fuel filler hose etc. finally had to pull the shackle off and use a dremle to take off a bit of the bushing and it finally got close enough to pound the bolt in.
