Ya stuff going on with the job, almost lost it completely, but they found a diff position at less pay and less hrs, but it still beats unemployment. Now that im off earlier i should be able to get back at it.

sorry to hear about losing your job but at least they found you another position. Your build is looking good so far. Keep up the good work. Post pics when you can cause I'm sure we all want to see them.

Now that i havr some free time, the off road truck will be first. The body is at my buddys house for welding but he is knee deep in a jeep build for a customer, so when he is done we are going to try and get the body welded up and sealed and maybe painted...

progress

Front floor and front corners in. Finally....only too a few hours and I even got to weld a bit.. the grinder will be my friend..lol

moving day tomorrow.

Taking this body off the rotiserie and puting it on the stock hight chassi and puting the body on that one on the lifted one so we can move that along to get it running and on the road.

ya you either a great welder or a great grinder.. It was my first time so the grinder will be my friend. But they are in.

went over to Bax's house today and used his lift to swap the body that was on the stock chassi over to the chassi with the 5.5 lift. tomorrow the body that we welded on will go on to the stock chassi. here it is ready for things to move forward...

Sorry to hear about the job as well but glad they were able to keep you on. Hopefully you didn't take that much of a pay cut. On another note, Get that middle floor section prepped and painted but lookin good. LOL! There is enough rust on these trucks to take care of! ;D

I have osfo at rogers somewhere but ya your right it needs it before storage as that one is Ethans and hes got a while before he will be driving it.. as hes 5.

I hear ya man. It's amazing how gas/groceries/taxes keep going up and up and up, but they keep chiselin' away from the working guy. I could go on and on, but I digresss......keep up with the good work.:-X

Ethans truck made it home this morning... and who was standing on top as soon as it was off the trailer... Ethan... jumping up and down with a big smile on his face... hes begining to understand that its his.;D

Pulled the rear spring apart to get rid of the shim in the as new purches are going on and found this... This is off a WH 5.5 leaf after being rolled going 55 mph. Man if i had stock one I dont want to think what may have happened.
