Fuel filler neck to body connection- seal?

[PDQ]

Is there any kind of gasket/ seal between the filler neck flange and the body or is it just metal to metal with the 3 screws connecting it? (Its a '72)

I made one out of bulk cork gasket material. Not a fan of metal to metal contact, even with the rear filler neck mounted in two places.
