GM heater blower upgrade

I know I've seen it here, but don't remember the source of the enlarged blower. It was a GM fan and cage, but can't remember from what vehicle or what years.

One from a 1987 through 1997 Ford F250 also works.

The same part number was used for '87 - '97 on Broncos, F150's and F350's.

Check the different models suggested. The GM unit was like $80 when I bought it seemed steep for what is was.

Get ready for all the dust to get blown out of your duct work these fans kick the old one by 2-3X!

Dang wish I had known I just replaced my heater core, would've been a good time for an upgrade

gonna make 2-3X the noise too. I did it. My next fix is vintage air unit.

Correct it is louder but I am a lot warmer and my truck is pretty loud inside so when I'm moving I forget about it.

Also check your wiring. If it is all sketchy the higher current draw will do it in.
