How Much Tranny Fluid Drains

Can someone tell me how much transmission fluid is lost when you remove modulator? In other words, if left open, will it simply drain the majority of the fluid? Thank you for any help. Rob

It will drain a while but I do not think more than two quarts. It is above the pan which hold about two quarts and the total fluid changed in a filter/fluid change is about 4 quarts.

When folks over fill their tranny, removing the modulator is one way to bring the fluid down to a closer to appropriate level.

If your quick about it, only about two full arm pits via your wrists.

Side note:
Make sure it's sat over night, it stays warm for quite awhile. I bought the t shirt.
