Throw up your pics for those of you running the winters sidewinder shifter. Primarily looking for those pics of who has put one in a console or moved it higher off the floor!

TIA

Cable shifters really give you a lot of mounting options. Here's what I did in my 66.

Thanks much! That is what I was looking for.

I have a tuffy console, and thinking about modifying it to do something similar.

So with your console design, it looks like you have room to run the cables through the console and the floor, one going forward and one going rearward? Correct?

TIA

I ran all three cables towards the back and down through the floor. They come out behind the tcase. I could have run them either way, and would rather have run the trans cable front but I had some clearance issue. I'm running a 4R100 and it's very tight in the trans tunnel. You can get any length cable you need. If I remember correctly my transmission cable is 9' long. It comes out behind the tcase, over the frame, along the rocker panel and then makes a "U" bend back over to the trans.

Center console

Not the prettiest, but, the style was what I was looking for.

Qumanchew anymore pictures of how you hooked up the shifter to the transmission to clear the front drive shaft? Also is that console home made? More details please. Thanks.
