on a 73 bronco power steering pump

Wondering if my power steering pump is going out on a 73 bronco
When it’s in gear and I turn the wheel it dies any ideas thanks a bunch

What is your base idle set at?

Do you have a manual or automatic?

When you are in neutral or park and turn the wheel how much does it pull the rpms down?
