Just thought I'd share a few photos I took last weekend cruising through Texas Hill Country. I finally got the spooky Bronco photo I'm been trying for years to get.

The basement of this house was bigger than the floor above it, tons of little low ceiling rooms to explore. The photo with the bars on the window was where they kept the wine under lock and key. Note: don't ask the historical society lady if you can stay overnight in the basement she might look at you cross-eyed.

Wow, very cool. What is the name of this place? - just want to google - seems like there would be some local legends and fascinating history behind it.

Pretty incredible how well everything has been maintained for so long! Thanks for the pics, cool stuff. Lot's old abandoned houses around here out in the middle of nowhere, nothing in that condition or size though.

but of course, I'm still "saving" for new camera

lost the D7000 on a work trip to las vegas last year :( takes TIME to afford what I need

That sucks! I'm so sorry. But it might be a good time to think about going mirrorless?
