Having the flat tow hangers was important to me, as well as having the Winch block as little of the radiator as possible.

Think I need to buy a welder and give this a shot. I just can't warrant spending $500 on bumpers when I could spend $500 on a welder and $100 on materials.

Heres the Back and front of the white '66 I did and the 1/4" C-channel I cut %) for the yellow'68 but I do not like it much but serves its purpose. You know I dont want to stand out to much! ;D

Thanks, I am working on a design for the front, I have a Duff bumper now with the removable winch on a receiver, but I am tired of stowing the winch in the bronco and it sticks out to far to leave it on the front. It's funny because I initially planned to build a stealth style bumper for the rear but wanted to match the front Duff bumper and didn't want to build two. This is the closest I have seen to what I am thinking of for the front except the corners will wrap around like my back bumper. Possibly a stinger/light bar?? This picture is from Derrick1032 (hope he doesn't mind)

of course I dont mind(a little flattered actually). heres the rear that matches the front

WOW!!! I like your bumpers too. I guess I will need to make my mind up between the solid style and the tube, or buy a second bronco and run both.;D You want to make another set?;D ;)

Thanks. ..problem is that they were made on my truck (she's a little tweaked), so they may not sit straight on your truck if I make them here and ship.

If I owned the bender (and I got the hydraulic hook-up), I probably would make some more.

If you want closer/more detailed pics I can take some for you.

Bumper Shot

Made my front and rear bumpers in the basement.

Added a receiver winch mount and Hilift jack toting brackets to the front and am working on the spare tire/ Gerrycan carrier for the rear but I'm not satisfied with the design thats a lot of weight bouncing all around.
I need to take some fresh pics I have made many mods and departed with several more $$$ since these.

If its not to much trouble that would be great. I'm hoping to have my Bronco done before SOB 12, and make my own bumpers (with a little help) by then also. Thanks

I'm surprised cbearly hasn't posted his on here yet. Do a search on "bumper build" and look for the one that cbearly started. His bumper is NICE.

edit:

Here is his thread:

Thanks. After posting in several "let's see your bumper" threads, I thought you guys might be tired of seeing mine. Good to know it's not forgotten.

There are some great home built bumpers shown here. 73bronco - you should have lots examples to get good ideas from now.
