Hey fellas,
I have a 77 I'm getting ready to start working on. Body is pretty rough but with a lot of work, it could be salvaged I guess. I found a fiberglass bodied EB for a decent price. My hood, grill, doors and front fenders are in good shape so I could switch them over.
My questions are these:
What are the disadvantages to a glass tub?
Will any tub fit any chassis? (Tub I'm looking at is on a 74 chassis)
What kind of problems, if any, are common with glass tubs and are they hard to fix?
I don't know what brand the tub is but it looks to be a kendral tub. Is that good or bad?
What is involved in doing a steel front clip to a glass tub.
Any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks
