Hey guys im new here...

I dont have an EB...I have a Bronco II. My rear sill is rusted and shot. Ones for the B2 are not available.

Im wondering if someone would be kind enough to measure the distance from frame rail to frame rail, as well as rear body mount to rear body mount.

Im wondering if an EB sill (which are easy to come by) can be made to work.

Thanks in advance

Back to the top for you.
Just out of curiosity, by “rear sill” do you mean the rearmost floor section at the tailgate?
Because one uses a tailgate, one uses a liftgate, and both are many years apart in design, I have my doubts that any of the sheet metal is even remotely close between the two vehicles.
In other words it might be easier to make one from scratch.

Don’t have the measurements off the top of my head, but I would bet that the bronco II and EB are different widths, both in frame rail and in body mounts.
We’ve actually compared some things between the two before, such as gas tank and axle width. But I don’t remember seeing the actual frame width or body mount separation talked about. So it wouldn’t be bad information to post up.
Hopefully somebody gets to it before I do, because even though I have Broncos, I’m easily sidetracked between duties!

Good luck.
