I thought I would stop by my dads shop and throm my new seats in the bronco. Nope. I have some broken bolts and the drivers seats bolts are spinning. I can get at anything underneath . Anyone have any tricks.?

Yeah cut the head off the bolt. There is a bracket with a bolt that is welded to the underside of the floor. many times the bracket is gone or the bolt breaks off the bracket and just spins. Thats where you are now. if you want to put the stock seat back in You will have to pull the tank to get to the bracket / nut and fix it. be careful the tank is only about 1/2 '' from the floor.

Seems like it's just a nut welded to either just the floor or the support that runs across the floor. I had the same problem, had to drop my tank to install my factory drivers seat. Not much to it if it's empty, but still a pain.

I know JBG has the bracket your looking for. They are probably available at other venders as well. If I remember they are pretty cheep to buy but would be easy to fab up if you had the right stuff already on hand. Its basically a nut welded to a plate to help support the seat.

I had to pull my auxiliary tank. Not too bad, used opportunity to put in new tank hoses and powder coat skid plate. Good luck.
