Thanks we'll see what happens. Worst case I found some parts.

It’s hard to find one in any condition for that price any more. I paid $900 for mine in 1998, it was about that same condition. It had a 289, it started every time, and had a little bit of brakes. Also was wrecked on front passenger side, so only had one headlight. Perfect hunting lease buggy.
