Have a friend with a 408 and vortech, it is an absolute monster, in a 4x4 with 33x12.50’s easy smoke show at 65mph. In a truck to run and get parts🤣😎

Hasn’t tried to launch in 4x4, afraid of spitting out some d44 parts lol
That's my ultimate goal in my f100, stroke my 351 to a 408 or 427 with supercharger.

Gonna use this TorqStorm on my 351 with gt40 heads and intakes for a while till it needs rebuilt, then stroke it and do upgraded heads intakes at that time.

But the new Vortech's dialed in properly can show real gains at 2,000 rpm.

Any dyno charts (@ 2000 ish)? Would be cool if they come close to PD's, since they are way easier to package, many times.
I can say I have not followed the absolute latest in centrifugal's, but thought boost was still RPM dependent.
The Roush I put on my 14 GT was max boost, right off idle.

I've been looking at GT500 dyno charts (since I just picked up a 21, 2 weeks ago). Obviously apples to oranges with broncos or trucks, etc.
(especially with DCT), but 400 @ the wheels @ 1900 RPM. (out of 317 cubes). The increase was an intake only (no tune)

I emailed Kenn Belle today about making a shorter set up for us today...
This guy used a mustang one on an explorer and added a second crank pulley in front of the explorer serp...

When I get my rig running I will do some digging in my notes. I have talked to Vortech about it. (edit: about two yrs ago.}
