Since I can't update the Archived thread, I'll post a few pictures including a recap photo of how this one was found. It just shipped out of Baja Broncos Unlimited today to it's home in southern CA.
Randy at Driven 4x4 found this Baja in a pole barn in central Phoenix years ago, and sold it to my customer who had me restore it. It was a long road, but I think it turned out great. It's an all stock Baja, no upgrades, original Commando XT tires, original rims rechromed, original date coded longblock and intake, tcase, etc. It features all FORD sheet metal with the exception of one fender, and the front floor pan metal. That includes inner structures/brackets/etc....it has the correct year core support, etc. Also, lots of time was spent on the original fiberglass flares. Which I made molds of after we were done restoring them. So if there's a Baja missing a flare, we have an alternative to the larger fiberglass flares available today. Thanks Randy, Tiger, WH, Jeffs, Tom's, Nicks, and many others. And Rest in Peace, Greg Testa - the painter who has probably painted the most fully restored Bajas in existence to this date, 5
