What size lift would fit 285/70R17 tires?

Hey y'all.
So I've got some 285/70R17 (32.7", 11.2") wheels laying around in my garage. They've still got plenty of tread, they just aren't getting used. Anyone know what size lift I'd need to use these without cutting the rear fender? I am willing to roll them a little if necessary.

Thanks

Cut you can run larger tires without a lift.
Uncut, that is probably just too wide. Width is the limiting factor. 10.50 tires don't like to fit in an uncut.

I'm trying to go for more of an uncut, lubr bronco, but thanks. I'll make sure to look for tires skinnier than 10.50

Not true....my dad run 31x10.50 on stock steel wheels on his uncut 69 for the last 10 years, no lift...it's all in the backspacing

Uncut - 3 1/2" lift and 4.75 backspacing. Method wheels for example.

Cut Fenders with Flares - 2 1/2" Suspension Lift

I never said impossible, just that it doesn't like it. You got to get things just right. Trying to dial in back space, wheel width, on 17s. 10.50s on skinny wheels suck in the sidewalls. OP stated 11.2" wide, pretty much ¾" wider than your sucked in 10.50s.

When I ran 12.50s they would rub the inner fender when stuffed, and rubbed the flares more than an inch beyond the body.

I ran 32x11.5-15 for years with an ancient K Bar S 2.5” lift. With that size, height was not an issue except for the front. You hit any kind of bump with the wheels turned, and they will catch the front edge of the front fenders. Real easy to trim that away, and a casual glance won’t even notice the trim.

On the rear, the lip does need to be rolled up. I used a 2x4 as a “dolly”, and then persuaded the edge up with a large ball peen hammer. The paint doesn’t like it, but the shape came out fine.
Do that, and it’ll be tight on the sides, but won’t rub. That is, of course, depending on the wheel backspacing too. Anything larger than a 32, and you’ll start hitting the lower forward edge of the rear fender.

This is with it about as stuffed as my suspension would let it. There is some casual contact at the front of the rear tire.... I could hear it rubbing, but it wasn’t really hurting anything

I looking at some wheels that has 5 back spacing. Will that work?
What front brakes do you have?
If you are using 76 or 77 disc brakes and steering linkage the wheels will probably not fit. Unless they are 18 inches and larger.
If they are 17 inches, there’s a good chance they will fit, but no guarantee.
If they are 16 or smaller they will probably hit.

I ran that size, I had to narrow the rear axle to clear them.

I had 1" body, 2.5" rear, 3.5" front, axle back 1" and new taller perches in the rear. Wasn't worth the effort.

I'm running a 275/70-18 on Moto Metal MO962 wheels. They have backspace of 5.00 and 0.00mm offset. I'm running 2.5 suspension and 2 body lift.
