#4 nuts and bolts because they get lost
#5 spare wire and connectors because I have old wiring
#6 silicone tape to seal up leaky hoses
#7 spare bulbs because they burn out
#8 spare relays because I've one fail before
#9 spare hub because they break
#10 spare fuses because of #5
#11 fluids, grease, sealants

Keep the ideas coming, I've been working on my list and you guys are giving me good ideas. I think we need to start a "tools to carry" list also. I have a feeling by the time I get both list together I'll need a trailer to carry it all in.;D

Soda bottle, gear lub top, 3 or 4 feet of fuel line and hose clamps. Because sometimes your spare fuel pump quits too. Of course this is only good for carbs. ;D

It depends on what I'm doing.
Just driving around town I have a box with very basic tools, some wire and connectors, belt, duct tape, electrical tape, fuses, straps and pad to put on the ground.
When I'm going wheeling I have other boxes of the stuff mentioned I can easily grab.

I make sure what ever I have any buiddies have other items to share the load...cuz short of bringing a spare vehicle, the thing you don't have will be the thing you'll need.

... AAA Card if all else fails... :(

You keep that in your wallet, never know when you may have to use it on the way to work.

I always take:
Hand tools
5 gallons water (if the leak is unrepairable I don't want to leave a anti-freeze mix trail)
Spare fuses
Extra wire and connectors
Tire plug or repair kit
Drinking water
