Well,

The divorce is final (other than the obliguatory waiting period) and I've bene thinking of renaming The Turd to something else...

She was the one that named it. She called it the "piece of poop", hence the name.

It's not that I don't like the name, it's known, looks - well - rough, but I've put enough into it to quite possibly be named something else.

So, here it goes. Options are listed. Let me know what you think.

It can't be that for a couple reasons.

1. When something is wrong, I can figure it out and fix it.

2. When I get a little rough with it, it doesn't complain and shut me off from driving it.

3. If I do end up breaking it, no civil laws have been broken (then go to #1)

4. If I haven't driven it or paid much attention to it for a while, it won't get pissy and become ultra clingy.

5. It doesn't mind being left out in the rain.

Do what you think is best. But if your not going to call it the Turd any more you may have to start fixing it up. ;D

Your Bronco is a representation of your style and personality. Although you may call it something, you don't need to brand it with a name! Take the name off and enjoy it...in your words, "you putz!" ;D

Sorry to hear about your divorce! Sounds like you are better off anyway. Some guys get lucky and marry a wife that is cool and understanding and wants to be a part of their life and vice versa. Others get the obligatory PITA that tries to control them and pull them in every direction but the one they wanna go in.

So yeah, "The Turd" has to go! I vote for just enjoy the truck for what it is and build it how you want you PUTZ!!! :p ;D

My Bronco doesn't have a name, although I've made a few derogatory suggestions to myself from time to time. If anything, my wife and I call it "The Bronco".. Seems appropriate enough...

I don't think you need a name. And, from what I read here on CB.com, I don't think you're a putz.

But then, others may disagree!!!

X2 Sorry to hear about your divorce but look on the bright side, you got to keep your Bronco!! Is it possible that she left it behind because of the name if so keep the name as its earned its keep:).

If that's the case then the house is a pig sty, as well as my tool box, oh, and the kids must need a bath too... ;)

It was amicable. We get along better now than we did when we were married. It's all good and the kids stay in the house. It's really all about them.

Gee, I hope not!! ;)

"The Bronco" is it's nickname...friends made fun of me years ago when I had my 76...their cars were always "the car" or "the truck"...I was the only one that named it from its badge...
