I don't think this is new, but it looks cool. Too expensive to throw lumber in the back though.

Looks like a 1/2 cab d-90. They stopped selling the d-90's here when us standards demanded they put in air bags. I think base price was 29k like 15 years ago.

They had those in Afghanistan, but I remember the bed being longer. Won't be made available to US until they integrate airbags.

Pretty cool. My buddy just bought an old Land Cruiser FJ pickup. Some place in Texas found a rancher in Costa Rica that had a bunch of them and they bought all of them and brought them back to the US. It's got a nice little diesel it.

Awesome in my opinion. I love those old Rovers, especially Defenders.

I saw this beauty on Sat while picking up my Xmas tree. It was in really good shape and was a diesel. Sweet rig.

Those are 110's. They have a 110" wheelbase versus the Defender 90 (90" wb). They both have been around a long time, just not here. There is a company here in Maine that will build you a 90 or 110 from the ground up if anyone is interested.

I had a 90 that I put a Cummins 4BT in. out of all the trail / hunting rigs I have had that is the one I miss. The Buick V8 they put in them was junk, you have to replace it with something, a popular swap is the 6.5 Detroit diesels that the military is starting to decommission, it has the GM 350 bolt pattern so it bolts right up. They are great trucks with all aluminum bodies, you just have to do something about the engine and the electronics. Once you replace both they will run forever with no rust.

I own an original 1961 Land Rover half-cab. It was sold new by a Los Angeles Land Rover dealer and later purchased by my father-in-law for his cattle ranch. My kids and I restored it in 1997 and still drive it all the time. It sits in the garage next to my 1966 Bronco half-cab.
