OEM Bronco Exhaust Systems

We just installed a new Shelton Manufacturing exhaust system on 'Skeeter' , a '66 U14. The exhaust is very close to the original including the muffler and the tubing. The exhaust hangers are also included and they too are very much like the originals. The flange that bolts to the manifold is formed like the original so the donut gasket is centered by the exhaust pipe.

The kit has everything you need to install the exhaust: hangers, clamps, gasket, muffler, and pipe. The system is top notch and is amazingly close to the original layout. The kit bolted together excellent without any bending or tweaking which is more than I can say about many exhaust 'kits'.

This system will be installed on any 6 cylinder Broncos around here that needs exhaust and I know many exhaust shops don't stock the components or take the pride to make an exhaust system as nice as this! It's highly recommended and I think a V-8 system that is a duplicate of the original is also in the works. I know the Roadster crowd needs to see this!

Check the pictures of 'Skeeter'! The exhaust is the only thing that's not rusty!....oops, let me correct that....Patina!!!

Good to know,
SurferB & I gave Lance a factory V-8 Ypipe to use to mock up for the V-8 system. I think Lance has the v-8 setup just about done. I'm sure it will be top notch quality just like the 6cyl set up.

Thanks Dennis for the kind remarks.

Just to be clear, We are not the other guy listed.

We are Shelton Manufacturing. Located in beautiful Greencastle, Indiana.

We can be reached at 765-301-9235 or online at sheltonmanufacturing@yahoo.com

We are Bronco people that have been into Broncos since 1977 when our family purchased a new one.

No, we do not have a web site.

All of our exhaust systems are handmade on American made equipment with American made materials.

We take pride in what we make, trying to keep it as close as possible to the original that came on your Bronco when it left the factory.

Our 6cyl system uses the correct style muffler with a 2" inlet and a 1 3/4" outlet like original, we also include original style hangers with clamps and a flange gasket.

You can purchase a complete 6cyl system for only $269.95 plus shipping, just give us a call.

We should have a west coast distributor on board soon.

Nicely done. Any idea when the V8 system will be available?

I tried one of the other guys "OEM" systems and was not impressed with it at all. It was not even close to a factory exhaust.

We hope to have both V-8 versions available by the Fall Ford Truck Festival the first weekend in September at Townsend TN.

The early model is a 2 piece “Y” pipe, the later version is a one piece with or without a catalytic converter.

Friend here just took an original V8 exhaust off of an 80k mile '74 Ranger in case anyone needs one for reference or a restoration. Still has the muffler with the Ford logo on it and, if I remember, had zero rust on it.

Figured he'd keep it on the truck for some more original cool factor when he goes to sell it, but guess he was more interested in the newer sound and such.
Gotta admit, it does sound pretty good right now. But I'd have left it original, as so few are anymore.

A few people have requested a 2" tailpipe for their 6cyl, so now we are offering a complete 2" version for the same low price of only $269.95 plus shipping.
Make sure you request a 2" system when placing your order.
