The cable guide shows it being at 4 wheel parts tonight. Maybe it will explain why their employees don't know sh*#.

Fire anyone that knows anything because they have to pay them more per hour.

Of course look at how well that worked out for Circuit City.
The former employees that knew what was what went over to Best Buy, and so did their customers.

Hey,

Greg Adler was driving in the King of the Hammers yesterday. They posted a shot showing the team changing drivers at one of the pit stops. The announcers said that he was heading back to LA for the show's broadcast. Not sure if that was the truth, or not.

I wish they would give people a reason to shop from them. I bought a winch shortly after I bought our first Jeep. I did the online ship to store. Went to pick it up and thought it was kind of odd that the box was open. When I got it home I realized the snatch block was missing. I called the sales associate who took my money and was told that they stopped shipping snatch blocks with that package. Picture on the outside of the box showed it and the packing list said it was included. Superwinch sent me one after I wrote them. That was the last time I've shopped from them. Unless there's a real good reason to give them another try, I doubt I'll take another chance on them. The kicker is I paid more money so that I could support their store than if I would have purchased the same winch from another online vendor.

I'm sure it's tough to find the right people for these jobs; but, universally I don't believe they have a good reputation. The local Jeep club we belonged to at one time didn't shop there after the previous manager left.

We have one in Orlando.

I haven't really been back since Rex left.

Jason (SE Early Bronco Club) was the store manager for a few years, but some politics sent him packing.

Kenny is still there though. He is a good guy. Known him for nearly 30 years.....

I just buy everything online anymore.....

Most all counter guys at our location are wheelers and are quite knowledgeable and helpful. But not near as smart as the guys on here. Only problem we have with them is they never donate anything to our Roundup raffle. But I'm told they donate lots of good stuff to the local Jeep clubs which of course is their main market. :(

They kind of irritated me recently. My bronco sat up for quite a while and when I got it going again and drove it the bushing in my Rancho shocks disintegrated. Was driving by so I though I would just stop in and see if they sold a bushing kit. The counter guy said that they didn't make a kit and that I would have to buy new shocks and started looking them up for me. I said no thanks I'll find something else. Went home, got on Rancho's site and they do make them, better yet, 4-wheel parts sells them. Got them from Amazon. There pretty overpriced anyway in my opinion.

Just don't go there expecting the counter guys to know diddly about vehicles.

Same caliber people as behind the counter at a fast food place

Too bad I missed that one. Don't normally watch it, but would have for that.
Just looked through the next 2 weeks worth of showings, and out of a bunch they're not repeating that one yet. Oh well, gotta wait I guess.

What I find kind of hard to believe is that anyone in the entire company would not know what Greg looked like as soon as he stepped into the store. Maybe he doesn't get around as much nowadays, and is busy with racing and such.
That would make sense I guess, but he used to be pretty regular at most of the stores at least out here.

Working in the shop maybe?
Anybody end up watching it?

I didn't find out about it till Saturday
I saw it mentioned on justacarguy .com
A great blog BTW

I like watching that show but my DVR was full and didn't record it

I recently saw the one where the owner of the Utah Jazz went undercover and no one recognized him and he was on court and In the stands tossing out t-shirts

They do pretty good with the disguises

I got a chuckle from the one where the CEO of Maaco went undercover and got mad when some employees felt that Maaco was a lower quality paint job and had that reputation so there was no use to make everything perfect because the customer knew they were getting a low quality job before they ever came in

Duh. You ever see any of their work?
It's total crap. A 8 yr old with a spray gun can do a better job than Maaco

Watched that one last night and thought the same!

If that CEO honestly thinks they offer a high quality service, he is simply delusional. In some cases it may be a good value for the low price, but high quality with no corners cut, yeah right!

It was funny to see that the detailer guy who they gave the most to (family vacation, $10K down for a house, $20K for kids scholarships and $25K to for whatever up and quit and moved to FL after he and the family went on the vacation to Disney World!

The dude that was cutting corners and just being honest about what they all do also quit after he was reprimanded and moved to another store.

I'll have to look for the 4Wheel Parts one. I've never been to their stores or ordered from them before that I can recall.
