My main concern is being left stranded somewhere I guess it's just mainly due to relying on electronics designed by someone that isn't an auto manufacturer that has tons of r&d into their parts even though there systems can fail as well...
Even though they're doing their own thing, the additional tuning we end up doing to our factory systems to make them run well in our own non-stock applications is kind of what they do at their end and give us what we need, as do most of the other companies I would say.
And the sensors and injectors and much of that stuff is factory level product anyway. Like GM sensors and such.
Can't say you're wrong in not comparing them to a large factory that does literally spend billions on development. But these guys are R&D'ing better for our type of use I would think.
That's just my sales pep talk though. But the stuff does seem to be working out pretty well. I think many (most?) of the issues people were having that didn't involve the Command Center revolved around the same problem that all the other EFI kits have had. And that's the relatively unsophisticated (to put it politely) state of the chassis wiring that exists on many EB's.
Lots of EFI installs are going in with original crappy wiring and very few grounds to bond the whole system together. With the sensors attached to the TB unit, a well grounded engine and chassis and body are kind of critical things to update. Even to the point of adding a ground jumper wire between the throttle body itself and the rest of the system.
I think that came up a few times.
this is a clean setup..i'm assuming the aftermarket tank that Reynard is using,is not a efi tank? if not..where exactly is the pickup located?
can a stock single tank be setup the same way, using the stock pickup location? or maybe welding in fittings? or is the stock design really no way to have a "sump" to allow fuel to not be pulled away from the pickup? again, nice setup, really like the filter/reg design!
Pretty sure he's just using a standard NWMP/Sunset Fab tank there. Non-EFI type.
External pump just connects with good hose and tight clamps, but that side of things is still just sucking and all the internal stuff can handle that. Some tanks are better baffled than others, but as long as there's a reliable supply of fuel covering the pickup tube, you can use just about any tank you want I would think.
Is your bronco up and running? Is the corvette filter/regulator working?
I would have to say yes. See the last pages here:

I'm sure the others will chime in to correct anything I misspoke about, but I just re-read the thread and wanted to add some comments.
