I have a wetsounds stealth 10 cage mounted in the front (wipers removed) and love it. It has it's own internal amp and gets loud enough to hurt my ears. It's also water proof. The only thing it lacks is bass, which is understandable. I will be adding a sub in the future. I'll try and get a pic up. I use it through bluetooth only, but it also has a RCA inputs.

The new class D amps are tiny and don't produce a lot of heat. So it's really easy to tuck them out of the way.

Under the seat's a good option if you don't play in deep water.

Marine amps can handle getting rained on, but very few can handle submersion(and those are expensive and not as much wattage).

Do you sell a class D 5 channel amp?

I looked for months on what to do for a stereo in my Bronco. My goal here was to keep everything original and make it look like there was no sound system at all.

I had them mount a small marine stereo in the glove box (see link below). It doesn't have a CD player, but has Bluetooth and USB ports for digital files.

I have a RF remote that controls the stereo even with the glove box closed.

I then have 2 small speakers (not sure on size) mounted up under the dash. I don't have a picture of those. Next I had them build a speaker box that fits under the seat. In this box there is an amplifier, fan and four 4 inch speakers. The amplifier is hooked up to all speakers (under seat, under dash and subwoofer). They outfitted it with a grill painted parchment and then the Bronco logo. The outside of the box is painted to match the floor (with the "Rhinoliner texture").

I bought an old cooler from the 1950's. It fits perfectly behind the back seat and the tailgate. It is outfitted with a 10 inch subwoofer and it is bolted to the floor.

Here are a few links for the stereo components. Also my photobucket gallery of pictures.

Created a custom steel bracket and
Powder Coated. Made sure to leave plenty of space for cooling it off. This is behind the rear seat.

I bought a Pioneer amp when I first bought the Bronco. I had bought several things right after I bought it that I had not thought through where I was going to place them. This came from when I had a bronco in high school with big dreams and not enough money.

When I made my roll cage I mad mounts for all the seats and seat belts to be attached to it. So under my rear seat mounts I put a plate for the Amp and that is where mine lives. I held it up to many places and no go.

If I had it to do again I would be smarter about my amp purchase.
