Im thinking about lowering my driver side floor pan to match the passenger side and give me more room. I've only found a few pictures. Anyone have a link to a build thread with this? I have an idea on how its done but always like to see others work for extra ideas. I also tried searching but couldn't find anything! Thanks! This is just a reverse image i made for reference ,.....

I don’t have any pics of how I did mine, but they are cut back to the corrugated part of the bed floor. Sitting in my seats is the same level as sitting on the original raised floor. It puts my eyes in the middle of the windshield.

that's nice, that's what im gunning for, did you fab up a brace to run underneath the new section? I was thinking about buying the passenger side brace replacement from jeffs and just flipping it to fit the drivers side.

I did not, there’s a lot going on underneath that completely negates the need for bracing the body. If curious check out my “Broncno details” link in my signature. There’s not much bronco under the skin

I took a lot of pics and measurements when I lowered mine back in '16.

I'll get a link for ya. It's a LONG thread so I'll try to narrow it down for ya. :)

I also lowered the drivers floor to get some more room. If you need a couple inches it is worth it.
