When did BaT start offering the high bidder one last final offer on a "bid to" auction?

Like this:

Don't remember the exact date, but it's been a few months now.

interesting but i'm i'm not surprised. many online auction sites do this for auctions that don't sell thru bids.

So, I’m thinking about maybe listing mine when we’re done with the resto.
What’s the best way/format to take pics good enough for BAT to use them. I think I read somewhere on here that you have to put it in portrait when you take pictures, or something like that. We just dropped the body back on a week or so ago so I can get plenty of pictures before we put the interior in just wanna make sure I’m doing it properly.

Marketing is everything when it comes to getting the most for it. Hire a professional photographer that specializes in Auto auctions or use a trusted consigner to market it for top money. Check out this nice Bronco on BAT. It went for well over street prices and the seller just lnows how to market them properly.

I think a lot of the car auction sales are just money laundering scams

They’re not. There is just a lot of wealthy people on there. Two of my Broncos sales have been to people with $10+ Million in cars…successful business people.

what i don't understand about that is if you're throwing that much $$ at a custom bronco, why not just go to one of the builders and spec one out exactly how you want it?

EDIT: but i guess if you've got millions in cars, a bronco from an auction is easily "something you try out and then resell if you dont like it"

A lot of the builders will be a year or more out before delivery so buying off BAT is instant gratification for some.

Guy's, if you think BAT prices are high, add another 100,000 to any of the Bronco's built by Velocity here in Florida. One of our customers just sold on Mecum for 194,000

People with money will buy what they want. My first vehicle was a 1996 Bronco XLT 5.8L White with alcoa wheels. If I won the lottery I would pay an asburd amount for a clean or restored one.

Body and Paint quality appears to be a 60-70k bronco.
