Yeah I'm definitely still interested. According to AI: "Prior to the 2023 model year, the Wildtrak offered Bilstein shocks as standard and Fox shocks as an optional upgrade, with the upgrade available in late 2022." This one was built in September 22, but I can't see anything on the window sticker that says one way or the other.

I would like to have carpet in the interior though which I don't think you get with the Badlands? Is that right?
Correct no carpet in the Badlands. If it's never going to leave the pavement I'd go wildrtrak 100%

Well My 22 Badlands had Carpet if you checked the box for leather seats like I did. Standard they have the vinyl floor. It was one of those stupid build things that Ford did, you couldnt get leather seats and a vinyl floor??? Had to be carpet but I opted for the full Rubber floor mats. The Biggest issue with the carpet was in the storage area as that was carpet and was always getting dirty and a PIA to clean.
I would prefer the vinyl over the carpet any day. So much easier to keep clean and yes the carpet is slightly quieter but if you have a soft top you will never notice the difference, hard top probably will notice it.

All depends on what you want to do with it!

lol… trying to keep track of all the ins n outs of the different packages combined with selected options is like being in an episode of the twilight zone!
Ford does all kind of crazy stuff "packages". Like on the F-150 (I don't know if it is still this way) you couldn't get bucket seats and a center console if you checked the box for chrome bumpers.

Hey Guys.... I went and drove this one this morning, first time I've driven a 6G. Really liked it.

https://www.fordblueadvantage.com/cars-for-sale/vehicle/750999587?allListingType=all&city=San Diego&gnav=vhpnav-si&makeCode=FORD&marketExtension=off&searchRadius=25&state=CA&zip=92106&clickType=listing

Any thoughts/advice on the 2022 Model year and the bad valve/lifter issues.

Price seems to be pretty good, only 10K miles.

Any guidance appreciated.
Get it boss man👊🏽😎😎

My friend (see Another 6G in the Hood) has a 2024 non-SAS Badlands. It has carpeting, leather seats, electric seats and factory sound deadening in the top. It's very nice.

My SAS Badlands has rubber mats and non-powered Marine Grade Vinyl seats (washout interior). I like it, but her Badlands is much more upscale than mine.

Has it always been that way? Non sas Badlands has carpet and Sas Badlands gets the washout floor?

Looking at the pics in the link you posted, you can see yellow shocks, so it has the Bilsteins. Our 21 Wildtrak has and active recall for those. The external resevoirs have been falling off of them. FYI also a new recall for fuel pumps. Ford doesn't have enough parts to fix either recall yet.

Ford doesn't have the parts to fix any of the recalls except for the windshield adhesive.......they have the adhesive....but if they break the windshield removing it for the adhesive they don't have windshields....Safelite does but your bronco is stuck at the dealership lmao.

Rob, do it already. After all, none of us are getting any younger! 😁
Yeah, I'm working on it, but the dealership keeps going back and forth on me on the price. I don't play dat!

Might well end up closing this weekend, but I'm not an impulse buyer and I refuse to let the dealer win.

Not sure I would want to be in negotiations with you. But then I did buy my truck out from under you!!!

Yes, yes you did!

I love when car dealers try to play their bullshit lies with me. I know more than they might think about the business, though not as much as some on here.

Car salesmen? And y'all think lawyers are bad!

I'm close, but I hate those lying cocksuckers for toying with me, so now they have to pay a penalty. And since tomorrow is the end of the month before they have to incur another month of carry costs, I'm going to see if I can take advantage of that! They could have sold it to me two weeks ago,and last weekend, for more than I'm offering now. They may still sell it for more, but not to me.
