That was stupid money for that Mustang, plus another 10% buyer's fee 😳

Unless BaT changed recently, it's actually a buyer's fee of 5% or up to a maximum of $5K. So on that $406K Mustang sale, it should cap it at $5K which is a much better scenario than the live auction houses like Mecum, BJ, etc.

There are currently zero Early Bronco's for sale on BaT. This is a first that I've ever seen........ Could it be a sign of something? What's your take ?

I don't see BAT bringing big money anymore on the Bronco's. 5% is a very fair fee.

How can you say what when all the coyote and clean ones bring decent money. If you build shit, you get shit in return. Nice builds bring nice money.

Do those who have used BAT recommend their photo service? My Bronco was a very nice build from ground up (non Coyote) new 302 crate motor and really nice front to back. Amazing paint, interior, drivetrain, engine. Want to give it best chance of bringing good price. Reserve? No-Reserve? Never sold on BAT before.

Don't let them talk you into "their" reserve. Ever since they got bought by Private Equity they set it lower so it sells and they get their cut. They'll tell you it's what other Broncos are getting. Pick your price (be realistic about it) and set your reserve a comfortable level below that. Accept that it might not sell and then you can't relist. Don't give it away. Also, if you go with their service (which is pretty good) ADD your own pictures too. Like your build pictures. Their descriptions are minimal, so take pictures of documents or written detail to add to the detail. Go look at others listed (past and present) and read the descriptions, then decide how much more detail you want to provide on yours, write it down, and snap a pix. When you list it, watch the comments. Create a user ID to comment and answer any questions or counter any claims other commenters might have. Last thing, I would "time" my listing. There's very few Broncos on BAT now because big money buyers are at Barrett Jackson. Sign up with an eye to get it listed in-between any Barrett-Jackson and Mecum auctions. Also, it doesn't hurt to list it in the For Sale By Member section here and note that it's on BAT. It helps spread the word. Good Luck!
