Power steering pump removal

I am in the process of replacing a bad fuel pump and found that I have to remove the power steering pump to get to it. I have removed all the bolts and it is now hanging free on the long stud that is attached to the engine. I tried to slide the pump off and have had no luck. What am I missing? This isn’t my first rodeo and have been working on cars for decades but with this little pony I seem to run into some strange issues. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You will probably need to remove the stud from the engine. I don't think there's room to slide th pump off assuming the radiator is still in place.

I slide the pump away from the block and use vice grips on the section where the pump brackets will cover galling. They never just spin out unless it’s a newer build.
