How hard is it to add power brakes? Got the MC and booster off a 70's F-250 Camper Special that has disc, also got the proportional valve. I know it needs to be angled. Going to convert to disc at the same time.
Thanks for any help.

A little work or a lot, depends on what you want to do. The booster will not work. You can buy a all new bolt on system for under $400. But if you just want to make one you can buy just the bracket and hit the bone yard for a 7" booster. My bracket uses the mustang II booster, I think all the others need a bronco booster but it is possible to modify other boosters to work. Or you can make the bracket also and make it fit whatever booster you can fit in the available space. Or you can go to hydroboost.

Just buy a kit from one of the bronco vendors and its much easier and you get new parts with directions. :)

I second that. And you get the right parts as well.

And with any power brake thread I reply to, have you looked into hydroboost? It makes a dramatic difference in a Bronco.

Thanks Guys!
I've heard good things about the Hydoboost. Checked the Junkyard and they want $100, or do you think I should get that new also.
I think I will get a new kit, especially on the wife's rig. She hasn't ever driven anything without powerdisc, so I don't want this to be her first!
Thanks again. How long should it take me to install those kits?

power brakes = Hydroboost all others are imitations!!
(am i prejudiced or what?)
100 is too much for a hydroboost in my opinion. I get them for nothing to about 25 dollars depending on application. 'Average is 20 bucks for the unit with hoses. extra if its got the bracket I want.

If you have 35" or less and you can't lock all 4 wheels with vac. ass. brakes somethings wrong. You can figure out whats wrong or change to hydroboost.
