Creative ideas to plug dash holes

I taped a patch over one of mine. See to the left of the gauges. There are all kinds of stickers, too. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

Anyone ever had an issue with the driver's side door not unlocking all the way?

If the link up to the outside door handle is too tight, I know that's one way it won't unlock or open. I had to loosen my passenger door a little bit.

    Duffs Long Arm bracket weld

No bolts, and it was never drilled for them either. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    Duffs Long Arm bracket weld

Mine are just welded around the outside of the bracket. Seems to have held up over the unknown number of years they have been there.

    KC Daylighters

Does anyone have a source for bulbs anymore? I bought a couple pairs many years ago, but not sure if you can find them anymore? Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk

    KC Daylighters

If you keep the length short, you can run 20 amps on 16 guage. 14 or 12 will get you longer wires if needed. 20 amps will get you roughly 240 watts.

    Drum size question

My only other clue (but not necessarily good information) is a question posted in a 1967 - 1972 F-100 & Larger F-Series Trucks forum. There was no answer to the question of what Bendix part #'s 3208006-R & 3208560-L fit.

    Drum size question

Appears to be a '77 setup. Axle flange spacing is same as a '77. Do your drums install all the way up to the backing plate when they are installed? My '72 has the big bearing HD axle. When it was swapped to 31 spline axles, the flange spacing was changed to the '77 style. But the PO kept...

    Tech help in MI?

Sorry, I'm not much help (too far away). I did see a beautiful EB on top of the hill a couple years ago (west side of highway) as you enter town from the South (south of Meijer). Hope you find the help you need!

    Krawlers Edge AWOL

I just wanted to say I had a great experience last fall. I called to order mine, and it needed to be ready for me to pick up in person on a specific date as I was driving through the area. They met all expectations and they gave me a quick tour of the operations. Thanks!

Above or below the bridge? Where I'm from, some consider "northern" to still be south of the bridge.

    Ballast resistor question

Both sides of the resistor will measure 12V when the circuit is open. Now, what is open? The next item in your system is the coil. Assuming the coil is good, then the next component is the points in the distributor. The points open and close all time as the motor runs. With the points...

    Explorer swap timing

In short, late model 302 "HO" is different from the early 302 firing order. This assumes you also have the explorer motor cam as well. For the timing marks, find top dead center on cyclinder 1 and see which timing marks are on your balancer. Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk
