I'm looking for a diagram of the orig belt routing on my 77 EB with not much luck, the PO removed the belt around the PS and smog pump so I'm trying to figure out the proper way, any help would be great, or point me in the direction of where I can find that info would be much appreciated.

Sorry I didn't catch any pics of the belt area when I was shooting vacuum hose beauty shots under the hood of a '76 the other day Spartan. Typical bad timing on my part.
Was even looking under the hood of an air-pump equipped '76 last night in front of my house!

So, I'll see what I can scrounge up, but here's some basics I seem to remember from other Fords.

Does yours have a 2-groove (sheave) crank pulley, or a 3-groove?
Some 2-groovers have the same size belts in both grooves, while others have one wider sheave.
If the wider one is present in a 2-groove system, the thicker belt goes around the crank, water pump and power steering pump.
The narrower belt goes around the crank, the water pump and the alternator.
Then the alternator drives the air pump directly. Sometimes with a very skinning belt.

If you have the cast bracket that holds both the pump and the alternator, this is how I've seen the belt routing most of the time.

Here is the only pics I found. Someone's (probably here) '75 showing the alt and air pump.
