These are great! ! I have been hunting these little gems for ages ....well back in the Day These Were/Are The Only Way To Keep Your Vent Window Closed. The piece of rubber fits around the glass...to act as a gasket.....then the crome piece slips over it with the nob facing inside. THEN TO LOCK SLIDE A OVER WINDOW FRAME....AND TIGHTEN NUT...TILL SECURE....easy/peazy

Yep. Probably the first accessory I ever bolted to a Bronco. No wait, that would have been a Tilt-o-Gauge, to let me know when I needed to start worrying about rolling over! ;D

If it still doesn't work for you. let us know. I'm sure I can get some pictures of mine.
Haven't used them in awhile though, so don't even remember if they're still there or not!

I think I got lucky with mine and didn't have the air leak blubuckaroo mentioned. Either that or I just couldn't tell over the other noises.
Couple of friends did though. Just could never seem to tune them out.

It's almost a shame that my old seals and gaskets are in reasonably good shape still. I'm sure when I pull them apart to refurbish, the new ones won't fit as good as the originals did. So I'll probably get the whistling wind then.
But if they start falling out on their own from age, I guess I have no choice but to go with new.

Drive it? I thought it was a driveway gnome-mobile. Meant only as a front yard display.
The tires are part of the concrete now, and I've planted flowers to keep the spiders happy. %) I think even the jackstands are permanently welded to the axle tubes now too.

But in answer to your question, YES! I do need help.
But help is on the way (in a manner of speaking) in the form of a few friends willing to help me with my garage instead. Once I get that half-way dialed back in, I can get back to working on things of my own.
I'm sure there are plenty of Bronco parts buried in there somewhere...

Thanks!

Back down to Chico now, eh? Gonna have to change your avatar again then it looks like.
I thought trouble followed you wherever you went? If you need something to keep you out of it though, then I guess I'd better get that garage/build party going again.

Let me know when you're down in the area.
We're getting ready to do another weeknight get-together again too, so if you're back down this way in the next week or so, let me know and I'll make sure to keep you in the loop.

Thanks for the offer! It's always appreciated.

I swear I've seen those same locks for sale at truck stops

I have em since my factory lock is broken on one side and the hinge pin is broken on the other side
But im pretty sure I got em at a big truck stop

Advance Auto Parts and Autozone have them listed on their site for $10. Looks like a special order item though. Made by Dorman and should be found in the help section. Might get lucky and snag them there.
