Custom Door Panel Pics

Hey Guys,

I'm thinking about replacing the diamond plate door and quarter panels in our '71. I'm thinking of non-stock types.

Does anyone have pictures of custom panels that you'd like to share?

I have had the old school, real thick Duff brushed aluminum ones since the early 90's.
I have not been nice to them. They still look new.

Mine are the ones that they describe as their old ones, but these new ones are interesting too.

On those door panels, this is what I have.

Here`s what I used in a 1968 that I had a while ago.

I replaced diamond plate door panels with just plain stainless. The 66 door and window handles with the side set screw would never stay on properly because of the diamond plate. I replaced the door panels and went with the 67 model door and window handles with the screw in the middle and its been 100% better.

A cheap and easy fix is just to flip them over to the smooth side and use them. That's what I did years ago, I painted them black, and swapped the drivers to the passenger side, passenger to the drivers side. Simple, clean and cheap.
