Clear coat rattle can?

Doing my rollcage in Rustoleum rattle can due to being lazy and being Dutch. Useing Rustoleum Hammered finish. Should I seal it with some type of clear in order to add UV resistence?

I would say no easier to touch up and most clear coat seems to fail before the Rust-Oleum.

I used rustoleum but went with a quart and brushed it on. I added some hardener to it before application and it made for a super strong finish. Just an idea as it’ll be cheaper than using all those spray cans.

I've used the hammered finish Rustoleum on several non-automotive outdoor items, have not seen any UV degradation after several years.

Buy the good clear coat that's a two part mix if you buy the spray cans. The cheaper stuff, doesn't look near as good.

I have been using this product lately for an upscale rattle can product. They make this 2k clear in a can but I haven't used it.
Yep it's expensive, so is there regular enamel can paint. Dries almost like a powdercoat.

I use Seymour for flat black. Awesome stuff. Great coverage with lots of solids. So I'm guessing the 2k clear is pretty good too.

I've used Hammerite a lot with no noticeable UV degradation, I wouldn't worry about it.

I'm on a Rustoleum Rugged Black kick right now though, I really like the finish.

Some really good suggesstions, thanks guys! On the way to the shop this morning, I remembered that I have three tops - Rampage soft top, howard-ized safari top, and full top. Probably not much solid reason at all to worry about UV. Thanks again.
