Yeah, still not doing it. Not worth it. I’ll use my elbow grease.
??...not worth it..how exactly? I've been in the metal finishing business for a long time,

That's where walnut shells come in to play....
Like Bill said.... There's many types of blast media that can be used to your job with more finesse than you can with elbow grease... Walnut hulls, plastic media... I just glass beaded an intake a few weeks ago and it came out looking better than new. I just sealed up the internals and thoroughly cleaned it after coming out of the cabinet.

Yeah, I don’t have those tools, nor do I have the experience! If I at least had the tool I might give it a try.

Ok, so thought about this a little more since I didn't have time yesterday to do anything.

Maybe I'll get a small blaster and stuff to do this as I might have a few other parts along the way and need it anyway. I had one when I started this project forever ago but don't know what happened to it.

If I did go with the walnut shells, which grit? I've never used walnut shell...do I need to protect anything with it?

Any tips?

My bad. I assumed you were going to have it done at a reputable shop. I've probably got 4 grand in my air compressor system and the blast cabinets...not your typical "hobby" setup...

No, I didn’t even like taking it to be welded where I cut it to fit the custom cam sync. If something happened to this thing I’d be crushed.
