Sorry, I am new here so probably a pretty dumb questions :Can doors ( non canvas ) be installed on the U series (models) 66-77 broncos?..How about a hard top ? I do know holes would have to be drilled .Thanks in advance

Confusing question, all 1st gen broncos are U-series. U150, U151, etc. So I am not sure what you are asking?
Yes, all body tubs will accept doors. But you have to pay attention to years as the door jab changed between 67 and 68, different jams and different strikers. Got to run them matched.

Almost sounds like you have a roadster and want to make it into a wagon?

Every single Early Bronco VIN begins with U. My assumption is you're referring to the Roadster which began with U13. You will need the correct doors for the year Bronco you're working on. 1966 & 1967 interchange despite their minor differences and 1968-1977 interchange, but you cannot interchange the 66/67 doors with 68-77 bodies and vice versa without fabrication work.

Tops will bolt on if the correct holes are drilled for mounting.

Edit: Tim types just slightly faster than I do :)

There are U13 Roadster Broncos that had factory doors and tops. The doors and tops were ordered as options. I've seen one like that near where I used to work.
So, the answer is Yes you can put doors and top on any Bronco but they need to be the correct year as stated above.
