Ford 9" forged 1310 yoke longer u-bolt solution

Years ago I needed a new yoke for my Ford 9" and ended up with a forged yoke from Yukon. I don't recall who I ordered it from, but at the time I didn't realize there was a difference from the OE yoke that I had. After installation, I noticed the 1310 u-bolts were not sticking through as far as they did on my old yoke. If I kept the lock washer in place, the threads did not protrude from the nut. I put some blue Loctite on the threads and just moved forward. Last year I was buying parts to rebuild my driveshafts and ordered some new Spicer 1310 u-bolts and thought maybe the problem would be solved. It wasn't. This bothered me and I eventually went to google to search for a solution. Maybe this is common knowledge, but I learned there are extended length 1310 u-bolts available for this exact scenario: Allstar Performance 69017. I bought them through Summit Racing for $15 and finally was able to put this issue to rest.

Hopefully this helps others who were unaware that these existed.

Thanks! Great info and pics!
I'm sure it's been out there before, but I really can't remember seeing specific part numbers. And given how long you used the stock sized ones, it's possible others are doing the same and have not looked into it either.
Now it's up front for everyone to see.

I wonder if that's a standard Spicer part, or only aftermarket custom stuff?

I tried to come up with a Spicer solution, but couldn’t. I am sure many others have the same situation with the standard short version. I am not sure which Bronco vendor sold me the forged yoke, but none of them offer the longer u-bolts from what I see.

Black gloves. No one bare-hands it anymore?
I used to be a mechanic and I noticed over time my skin became much more sensitive to chemicals. My skin started cracking on my knuckles and corners of my nails really bad. I switched to nitrile gloves and now it’s like Of Mice and Men. Smooth hands an no cracking. Plus the gloves help me get away with more crimes.
